It is with great regret that I advise you of the passing of Kamall Kadre Reynolds, a 16 year old Fourth Form student at Munro College. Kamall drowned in the sea near Albion, St. Thomas. Preliminary reports indicate that on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, he got into difficulty while swimming at Shally Beach, approximately 1.2 km away from the boarding facility the school's U19 football team was staying for a pre-season training camp. The school community has been plunged into a state of grief. I appeal for your continued prayers for his family, friends, teammates and other members of the school community.
Arrangements have also been made to provide ongoing counseling support for his family and members of the school community to cope with this terrible tragedy.
The school is working closely with the authorities to ensure a thorough investigation is facilitated. We continue to support the family during this difficult time.
